As you travel from St. George’s, heading northeast towards Grenville, the main road wiggles, and climbs and descends through the rainforest of Grand Etang National Park. Only five minutes after leaving Grand Etang Lake, you will arrive in Adelphi, Birch Grove. Birch Grove, located in the heart of Grenada, also consist of the villages of Providence, Nianganfoix, Upper Capital (St. James), Lower Capital and Beauregard.

Beauregard, which takes its name from the old French term, “beautiful view,” is located in North West Birch Grove. Naturally, from Beauregard, one is bale to capture scenic views of Grenville, to the east, Mount Saint Catherine, to the North and Mount Qua Qua and Fedon to the west. To the east runs the Great Rivers of Gan Gan and to the west Capital. Because of its location, the area gets over 300mm of rain per year. As a result, Beauregard and Birch Grove has been a leading source of Grenada’s Banana, Cocoa, Nutmeg, fruits, Yams and Spices.
